Course Description: Students will present and discuss important literature contributions to the following topics: temporal and spectral processing of vocalizations in animal models, cortical speech encoding in humans, categorical perception and comprehension in humans, articulation and speech motor control, role of speech perception in speech production, role of speech production in speech perception, neural substrate of sequential speech production.
