This course will focus on clinically-oriented anatomy of the brain, spinal cord, subcortical structures, cranial nerves and the tissues they innervate. The major functional systems, including somatosensory and motor pathways, along with integrative systems of the brain will be examined through an understanding of functional neuroanatomy. These topics will also be explored through the application of clinical cases such as intracranial hemorrhages, spinal cord lesions, and movement disorders.
