Course Description: Pediatric cancers have unique characteristics that distinguish them from the more well-known adult cancers.  This course will explore questions related to cell of origin, genomics, genetics, epigenetics, and treatment of these unique and fascinating diseases.  The course will be co-led by experts in the field and will be based on the primary literature, with the format being interactive rather than lecture-based. All students will also have an opportunity to “shadow”  a practicing oncologist at Benioff Children’s Hospital.
