Course Description: Health happens where people live, work, and play -- not just in the healthcare setting. Many people work in jobs, industries, and in circumstances that put them at increase risk for adverse health outcomes. This course explores how structural racism contributes to circumstances that pose greater risk for exposure to occupational hazards and consequent disproportionate burden of work-related injury and illness among workers of color.
