Course Description: The purpose of this mini course is to provide a survey of molecular imaging technologies, including but not limited to positron emission tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, and optical imaging.  Theory and practice will be discussed to establish basic literacy.  Additional emphasis will be placed on discussing the potential influence of “omic” technologies on biomarker discovery and prioritization within the imaging community, as well as opportunities for chemical biologists to integrate molecular imaging into their research programs.
