Cancers often acquire altered metabolism compared to their non-tumor tissues of origin and their sites of metastasis. Understanding how oncogenes reprogram metabolism may identify dependencies that can be exploited to develop new anti-cancer therapies. This mini-course will focus on recent advances in technologies to reveal how tumor cells reprogram metabolism to reveal the role of alter metabolism in cancer progression, therapy resistance and metastasis. Course will include reading and discussion of primary literature in the field together with presentations from faculty with expertise in the field of metabolism.
