Faculty experts will discuss the unique molecular and tumor biological characteristics of central nervous system tumors and their specific approach to the study and/or treatment of brain tumors. The lectures span clinical, preclinical and basic research approaches and will offer unique perspectives on the tremendous progress in the brain tumor field and the opportunities and challenges that arise from it. Topics include: Functional Mapping and Connectivity in the Brain, Leveraging tumor metabolism for non-invasive imaging and therapy, Molecular and computational tools to elucidate therapeutic targets, Gene therapy, oncolytic virotherapy, and immunotherapy in neuro-oncology, Meningioma treatment and biology, Brain tumor heterogeneity, MR imaging of glioma, Brain tumor microenvironment, and Clinical trials in neuro-oncology.
